This is an advanced level Language Arts Class that will include reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. Student will read five required texts as well as several books of the students own choice. Literature will be presented in a number of formats including drama and books on tape. Students will explore many different types of writing including essays, poetry, and practical writing. Emphasis will be placed on developing a daily reading habit.
