Course Description:
This is an advanced level Language Arts Class that will include reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. Student will read the above required texts as well as several books of the student's own choice. Literature will be presented in a number of formats including drama and books on tape. Students will explore many different types of writing including essays, poetry, and analytical, persuasive, and expository writing assignments. Emphasis will be placed on developing a daily reading habit.
