Biology Course Description
Course Credits: 15
Course Curriculum Used: Biology; Prentice Hall; Miller Levine
This course utilizes online sources, field trips, and videos as well as the text to learn about ecology, cells, genetics, evolution, microorganisms, fungi, plant diversity, invertebrates, chordates, and the human body.
One of our most fascinating field trips was to BODIES THE EXHIBITION at the museum complex in Cincinnati, Ohio. Using a polymer preservation process, actual human bodies were preserved and dissected for scientific study. http://www.bodiesrevealed.com/index-process.html
